Spring is right around the corner, so I'm slowly starting to incorporate mini skirts and tank tops into my wardrobe again.  Living in Hawai'i definitely has its perks, but to be honest, I am freezing and it's about 65 degrees outside.  For some of you, 65 degrees is ice-cream-eating, beach-going kinda weather, but here I am wearing my unicorn onesie, wrapped up in blankets, and sitting at my desk writing this post.  A mug of hot chocolate or coffee sounds perfect right about now.   There is nothing better than drinking something hot when your toes feel like ten frozen little ice cubes, but I digress.
For this look, I paired this gorgeous embellished mini skirt from Zara with a simple tank top from Topshop.  The intricate details on the skirt were the first thing that caught my eye in the store, so in order to highlight it in this outfit, I chose to pair it with a slouchy white tank top.  As you know, I am a big fan of when fancy meets casual.  Also, in order to keep me warm while sporting this look, I slung on a leather jacket and stepped into the most comfortable knee-high boots to keep my feet nice and toasty.  Coats, jackets, and boots are great pieces to transition your fall/winter wardrobe into spring/and summer.  Plus, I think boots look so awesome with mini skirts and shorts!  You show a bit of skin by showcasing your newest spring pieces while still keeping warm, so it's a win-win situation!
I hope you enjoyed this outfit post!  Let me know in the comments below what your favorite winter to spring transitional pieces are.  I would love to know!  As always, until my next post, I am sending you lots of love from my heart to yours!
