January 2019 Favorites

Monday, February 11, 2019

When January rolled around, I thought to myself, "Why not start off the new year with positive energy . . . and a handful of new sparkly bits and baubles?"  I decided to welcome in 2019 by rediscovering old treasures and treating myself to new ones.  Let me introduce you to the shimmery collection!

This one-of-a-kind necklace has become my new favorite statement piece.  My mother gave me her vintage gold chain necklace that she purchased in the 80s and I love wearing it as it is.  However, now I love it even more because I added a handful of colorful insect pins.  Entomology doesn't particularly excite me, but I love this array of eye-catching pins!

Last month, I started a collection of crystal pendants, which reignited my interest in collecting rocks and crystals.  So far, black tourmaline, kyanite, amethyst, citrine, selenite, and clear quartz are the only pendants I own, but I cannot wait to continue collecting and wearing different stones!

If you spotted a rhinestone encrusted scorpion in the necklace above, you are very observant!  For some reason, I've really been in touch with my Scorpio vibes, so I purchased this scorpion ring to celebrate that.  By the way, who else is a Scorpio?  Let me know in the comments below!

Now, on to the last favorite- this pair of jeweled earrings.  The deep colors of the stones and the vintage feel of the design makes this piece such a beauty.  I purchased them at the same jewelry expo as the pins, pendants, and ring above so, unfortunately, I cannot link the exact items in this post.  However, if you're interested, I've linked similar pieces below!
As always, thank you so much for taking the time to stop by Elizabeth, Marie, and Me!  I hope this post added a bit of sparkle inspo to your Monday!  Until my next outfit post, I am sending you lots of love from my heart to yours!  May your day be filled with happiness and laughter.
