Today on the blog I'm doubling down on denim with this Jean Atelier denim ensemble. I purchased this set years ago and it is still one of my favorites! In my opinion, denim on denim never goes out of style. I am usually not a fan of mixing black denim with blue denim, but I love the patchwork, and of course, the stars!
Although I am not someone who keeps up with the trends, I have to admit that this look is a bit "trendy" right now with the patchwork denim and boot-cut jeans. For this casual Texas Tuxedo-inspired outfit, I kept things simple with a black bralette, black boots, and a structured crossbody bag. To top it all off, I popped on a fun pair of black sunnies with heart-cutouts!
Also, if you were wondering what the denim trends for Fall 2021 are, they include straight-leg, boot-cut, asymmetric jeans, baggy jeans (ode to the 90s), low-rise jeans, and patchwork denim. Trends will always come and go, and recycle back around years later, so my fashion advice to you is to buy and wear what you love and feel comfortable in. Jeans are meant to be worn for years, and like good wine, good denim will only get better with time. Always go with what you feel comfortable in and what's flattering on your body type. Fierce denim style of yours. This is "bad girl" with a playful and chic touch. Adoring the denim jeans and cropped jean jacket. Same goes for the cropped top on the boots. Sweet styling, Kristine!
