Shopping has been my favorite pastime ever since I could help my mom pick out my own wardrobe for the next school year.  I'll admit, it can be a costly hobby, but I'd like to think of myself as a savvy fashionista.  Splurging on amazing pieces at Nordstrom and Bloomingdale's is always fun, but finding treasures while shopping at stores such as T.J. Maxx, Ross, Marshalls, and Nordstrom Rack is way more satisfying.  Those stores are sometimes a hit or miss, but whenever I find a great piece at a great price, I feel as if I found a treasure on a treasure hunt.
Unfortunately, there are no Marshalls here in Hawai'i, so that was the first place I headed to when I visited family in Washington State in August.  I went into Marshalls looking for the "treasures" and I walked out with this Free People suede skirt.  It is by far the BEST item I have ever found at Marshalls.  This skirt was originally about $250, but I only paid a little over $25 w/ tax!  Not only was it an insane shopping steal, the skirt fits me perfectly!
For this outfit post, I paired the suede skirt with this mustard knit sweater for a festive autumn look.  It's incredibly comfortable and the sleeves are bold and billowy.  I love that all earthy tones are different, but they meld together so well.  To complete this ensemble, I wore my two-toned platform heels and slung on this gorgeous pale olive crossbody purse from Sondra Roberts.  I wanted my jewelry to compliment the earthy colors, so I wore pieces that resembled stones and shells.  For bracelets, I wore two cuffs- one in ivory and the other in mocha.  As for earrings, I chose these Lucky Brand abalone shell earrings for a hint of evergreen and teal, which matches the geometric print of the suede skirt.  Hope you enjoyed this outfit post as much as I did styling this look!  I am sending you lots of love from my heart to yours today and every day!
