Hey, fashionistas! As promised, here is the look I styled featuring this gorgeous crossbody purse by Sondra Roberts that I featured in my July Favorites post, and in my recent outfit post, Autumn Treasure. I have loved the Sondra Roberts brand ever since I had the opportunity to shop at their showroom in NY in 2013. My family and I went on a shopping tour of the Garment District where we had access to private sales and showrooms. The Sondra Roberts showroom was first on the list and a few of the clutches that I purchased there have been featured on Elizabeth, Marie, and Me. (I recently featured a gold and black Sondra Roberts clutch in my post, Gem Stones and Jeweled Tones.) The reason why I love this brand so much is that their purses and clutches are so chic and versatile. This light olive cross-body purse is one that can easily transition from season to season.
For this outfit post, I paired it with high-waisted shorts and a crop top. The beading on the shorts and fringed texture on the bottom hem is what stole my heart because they add a fun boho-chic twist to the classic silhouette. To accentuate the shorts, I chose a deep olive ribbed cropped tank to keep the ensemble cool and casual. Also, I think olive plays nicely with the colors in the geometric pattern on the shorts. I then topped off the look by draping my favorite blush fringed jacket over my shoulders. The lightweight fabric makes it breathable and tolerable even in the hotter months. For jewelry, I opted for these geometric earrings from Lucky Brand and slipped on my matte gold bangles. Since I am in love with platform heels, you know I had to wear my favorite gold pair for a bit of glamour (and height).
