October 2016 Favorites

In the month of October I didn't find any amazing clothing pieces, but I did find really fun jewelry pieces that I am thrilled to share with you in this favorites post. Let's start with the coolest item in the bunch- the Betsey Johnson prawn earrings!
Never in my entire life did I think I would ever have a pair of prawn earrings. These sparkly baubles were hidden in a small jewelry bag in the clearance section of Macy's just waiting for me to snatch them up. I think these are strangely adorable and I don't even mind that they are clip-on earrings. Because they are so quirky, these prawn earrings make for an interesting conversation-starter.
My next favorite is this gorgeous flower ring by Tory Burch. I found this ring and my next two favorites at Nordstrom Rack. Most of the items at the Rack are sold out online and no longer available in stores, so it's such a thrill when I find beautiful pieces that fit me perfectly. I was incredibly lucky to find this ring in a size 5.
My next favorite had a lot of mixed reactions from my family. When I brought this BaubleBar necklace home, my grandma thought it was creepy, my dad thought it was weird, but my mom thought it looked pretty cool. Personally, I love it because the colors are gorgeous and the rhinestones give it such a glamourous feel. Plus, these evil eyes supposedly ward off evil and protect you from harm. I cannot wait to style this necklace in an upcoming outfit post!
My next favorites are also by Betsey Johnson. These necklaces are from her collaboration with the DreamWorks movie, Trolls, at Macy's. I featured a "Love" and "Happy" necklace before in a previous blog post, but I adore the fact that these are in the iconic Betsey Johnson font and there is a giant jewel in the "Love" necklace. They are such fun pieces to wear with casual and dressy outfits!
Last but not least, I have been loving these moon and star earrings from Eye Candy. They remind me of the movie, Twitches, starring Tia and Tamera Mowry. If you are a 90's baby who grew up watching Disney Channel as a kid, you'll know exactly what I am talking about. You can see how I styled them in my recent outfit post, Sun and Moon.
