Ever since my grandmother introduced the song, "Blue Velvet," to me as a child, it has been one of my favorite "oldie but goodie" songs.  Over the years, I have loved the original recording by Tony Bennett and especially Lana Del Rey's cover, but I clearly remember listening to Bobby Vinton's version of "Blue Velvet" on cassette while sitting on my grandma's bed.  I spotted this gorgeous turquoise blue dress at Rose Wholesale and it brought back such wonderful memories.  It looks so beautiful on their website, but it's even more amazing in person.  The velvet fabric is so soft and this dress feel incredibly comfortable whenever I wear it.
When styling this stunning dress, I knew I wanted to choose accessories that are equally as show-stopping.  A gold and silver statement star necklace turned out to be the perfect match!  To continue with the gold and rhinestone theme, I paired this look with a rhinestone encrusted clutch and slipped into gold glitter heels.  For a bit more glitz and glamour, I added a few gold bangles and wore simple stud earrings.  This ensemble is definitely reserved for a special night out.  Well, fashionistas, that completes this look for this outfit post.  As always, I am sending you lots of love from my heart to yours!
