After months of deliberating, I have finally decided that I will be taking a break from blogging and social media. Elizabeth, Marie, and Me has been and still is my little style sanctuary on the internet. Like a caterpillar about to crawl into a cocoon, I need to take time for myself, soul search, and get re-inspired. This is not an indefinite break, but for now I want to dive into new creative endeavors, whatever they may be, and just live life.
For my last post before the blog vacation, I selected this plunging cobalt blue jumpsuit. I thought it would be only fitting to match my outfit with the colors of a morpho butterfly, which looks exactly like the blue butterfly emoji.
It sure makes a statement on its own, but I dazzled it up with a contrasting burgundy belt, colorful geometric earrings, a lapis lazuli ring, and a pair of good ole Ray-Ban sunnies. For a bit of height, I elevated the look with a pair of platform nude heels.
As I look back at my five years of blogging, I am proud of the hard work I put into Elizabeth, Marie, and Me. This is certainly not a goodbye forever, just a goodbye for now. When I return to blogging, whenever that may be, there's no doubt in my mind that I'll be more inspired than ever. Whether you have been following my blog from the beginning, or if you just stumbled by today, thank you very much. Until my next post, I am sending you lots of love from my heart to yours!

Strange that not too long ago (earlier in April 2019), you celebrated a half-decade of this fine blog. Now, you've considered a hiatus from the blogging realm. I do wish you the best in taking time away from this blog and then finding the strength to return with more content.
