Hello, 2017!  I cannot believe this is my first outfit post for 2017!  I still remember starting off 2016 by wearing a statement necklace in my outfit post, New Year, New Sparkle.  This year instead of a huge necklace, I chose a pair of statement earrings by AQUA.  I don't know about you, but I love starting off a new year with a "BAM!" and a bit of sparkle!  To match those gold earrings, I wore a body-hugging emerald dress from Forever 21, a Topshop gold belt, my Moschino mini boom-box crossbody purse, and of course- a pair of gold platform heels.
Besides starting off 2017 with some glitz and glamour, a new year also comes with making new resolutions.  To me, a new year means new adventures, new opportunities, and a new chapter in your book of life- so why not make goals to help guide you along the way?  Honestly, I never used to be one to create a list of resolutions, but I created a very short one last year and I am proud to say that I accomplished all of them before 2017 rolled around.  That's why I decided to create another list this year!

Here are a few of my goals for 2017:

1.  Read more (a.k.a nourish the noggin more)!
2.  Start projects and stick to them.
3.  Take better care of my body.
4.  Trust my heart more than my head.
5.  Write a poem a week.

Hope you enjoyed this outfit post!  Let me know in the comments below what your resolutions and goals are for 2017.  I would love to hear what you hope to accomplish this year!  As always, I am sending you lots of love from my heart to yours!
