Hey, lovelies! I'm comin' at cha with another monthly favorites post. I don't know if you can tell, but in July I LOVED glitter and anything sparkly. I started to get on the glitter bandwagon in June with the pair of Miu Miu sunnies, but I took it all the way in July and I hope to continue this fun trend in my August favorites. We'll see! But before we can even think about August, I wanted to share with you all what I loved last month (and still love). Let's check it out!
It's no surprise that at least one pair of statement earrings found its way into my favorites. I've had my eyes on these gorgeous faux pearl baubles for a while. Whenever I browsed around Bloomingdale's I convinced myself that I didn't need them, but I'm happy to say that I purchased them during my last shopping trip and they were on sale! I guess it was just meant to be!
I also picked up this pair of earrings along with the ones above. They are so light and comfortable on my ears and they added just the perfect amount of sparkle to almost every casual outfit I wore last month. See girls, sometimes you can have your cake and eat it, too! So, if these beauties are still available at Bloomies, be sure to pick them up! You won't regret it.
The next favorite has been my go-to lip product. One of my co-workers was so kind to bring back goodies for me from her trip to Korea. Among all of the amazing beauty products she gave me, this one is in my top five. My lips tend to get dry, so I'm always on the lookout for hydrating lipsticks. This VDL Expert Color Lip Cube Marble Glow in the shade "Blooming Pink" is absolutely divine! It's such a beautiful fresh color and it keeps my lips hydrated all day. Some days I wear it on its own as a tinted lip moisturizer, and other days I love layering it with a different color pink lipstick as a primer to create a truly unique color. And I am always amazed at the silkiness and how soft my lips are.
My next favorite is another Korean beauty product. It's this sparkly gel pencil in the color, "Cup of Champagne." Even its name is fabulous! I love, love, love, the silvery color. I especially like to put it on my waterline and in the corners of my eyes. The color stays all day and so do the sparkles!
I guess you could say that I saved the sparkliest for last. As you know, I prefer heels over flats, but these glittery gems by Chiara Ferragani are making me reconsider that statement. Ever since her line of shoes came out, I loved these winking flats, but I could never find one in the color I liked or if I did, they weren't in my size. As fate would have it, I spotted these purple beauties on the shelf at Nordstrom Rack during their Clear the Rack sale, and the best part was- they were in my size! Needless to say, I snatched them up and headed straight to the checkout counter!
