August 2017 Favorites

The saying, "Better late than never," holds true again in regards to posting my August Favorites.  Although I took these photos at the start of September before embarking on my trip, I didn't have the chance to upload the photos and write this post until now.  Sorry for the late post, but I thought these gems were too beautiful not to share.  Let's check them out!

These Bettye Muller boots were made for walking!  I wore these beauties in England and France during my two-week trip and they definitely served me well.  While my family and I were abroad, the fall weather decided to creep in and serve up some wind and rain.  Not only did they keep my toes warm and my feet comfortable, they were versatile which made getting ready in the mornings incredibly easy.

Jeremy Scott, the current creative director of Moschino, is a genius.  I think his lighthearted designs are infused with fun, which delights my inner child and makes my heart skip a beat.  With that said, I adore the Moschino + Sephora collection, especially this charming eyeshadow palette in the shape of a shopping bag.

Not only are the colors gorgeous, they're highly pigmented and long-lasting.  All of the shades are spectacular, but my two favorite colors are "Cloud Crossing" and "Angel Wings."

All my life I have never owned a bright red purse.  Have you?  Personally, I tend to stick to carrying black, brown, or gold purses, but this one called out to me.  Let me rephrase that- this purse screamed out to me.  Ever since the Moschino "Biker Jacket Purse" debuted in 2014, it's been on my wishlist.  All these years I dreamed of owning one in black, but after trying on various colors, this crimson beauty stole my heart and finally made me take the dive.  Although this purchase made my credit card weep, I know that I will be using this purse for years to come.  It's not a classic style, but the craftsmanship is amazing and I don't plan on outgrowing my love for quirky and unusual accessories anytime soon.
As always, thank you so much for stopping by Elizabeth, Marie, and Me.  I know I've been M.I.A for a while, but I am currently working on new content for all of you.  Until my next post, I am sending you all lots of love from my heart to yours!
