November 2017 Favorites
Thursday, December 14, 2017
I am in the process of putting up Christmas decorations and infusing my room with the scent of Bath and Body's Winter Candy Apple candle, but I couldn't fully embrace the holiday season until I posted my November Favorites. Last month I took a break from my blog and social media, and right now I am trying my best to catch up and create new content for all of you. My first task on my to-do list was to work on this post. So, even if we are half way through December, here are the items I loved in the month of November.
Last month, I was saddened to hear about Azzedine Alaïa's death. He was a couturier who stayed true to his beliefs and designed with his intuition. With that said, I feel honored to own a piece he designed. I wore these heels in my outfit post, Woman Warrior, and I recently wore them when I attended Vogue's Forces of Fashion Conference in October. These heels command attention and keep my shoulders high as I strut, and best of all . . . they are incredibly comfortable!

During my last trip to New York, I also managed to fit in a bit of shopping. I visited the Grinnell Designs showroom and I purchased all of these beautiful gems. Most of them are vintage Escada pieces which makes them even more special to me because you all know how much I love vintage items!

My last favorite for the month of November is an item I have been wanting for years. I first saw this Mark Cross purse on Polyvore as I browsed through many pages of box clutches. It was so sleek, classic, and just beautiful. However, the price tag was not so beautiful. Recently, when I saw this purse on sale at Nordstrom (because they will no longer be selling the brand online or in stores) and discovered that I could receive an extra discount, I decided to take the plunge and add it to my collection. Of all the purses and clutches I have ever owned, this one is by far my favorite because it's timeless. I can see myself carrying this purse even when I am ninety years old. There's a reason why these Mark Cross purses have been around since 1845 and are still a relevant luxury brand in the fashion industry.

Now that I've shown you what I loved last month, I am excited to share with you the goodies I am currently loving! But . . . you'll just have to wait until my December Favorites post hits Elizabeth, Marie, and Me. Hope you all have a festive and peaceful holiday season! As always, I am sending you lots of love from my heart to yours!
