February 2019 Favorites
Tuesday, March 12, 2019
I know, I know, this February Favorites post is a bit late, but it's here at last. Somehow I got lucky with finding fun accessories that definitely spark joy!
I remember purchasing Aimee Song's first book, Capture Your Style, as soon as it became available at Barnes and Noble, so I was happy to discover that she wrote her second book, World of Style. For some reason, I didn't know that this one was released in October of last year. Even if I am a bit late jumping on the band-wagon, I love this book. It will most definitely excite all the wanderlust travel-enthusiasts out there!
Horses are not my spirit animal, but I've come to adore them for their strength and beauty. When I saw these statement stallion earrings at Kate Spade, I was in awe because I hadn't come across a pair of unique earrings quite like this before. They are a vintage-lovers dream, and these are sparkly and brand new! And it just so happened that these were on sale. Talk about a super style find!
In the last two years, I developed a deep love for sunglasses and Nordstrom Rack is my favorite place to find them. During a recent shopping trip there, I discovered these Chloe sunnies and I fell in love with the fresh design of the frame. I remember I had seen Chrissy Teigen wear them in one of her vacation photos and I thought they looked fabulous on her. Chrissy Teigen has a great sense of style, so I went with my intuition and splurged a bit on these 70s-inspired sunnies. They were worth every penny!
Next up is this beautiful tiered choker necklace from Midori Linea. I am really excited to announce that I recently became one of their brand ambassadors! However, that's not the only reason why I decided to include this piece in my favorites post. Of all the necklaces I own, I reach for this one the most. I love layering it with long gold chain necklaces and stone pendants. It's such a versatile piece that every woman needs in her jewelry collection.
Last, but not least, this adorable Kate Spade alligator and flower adorned ring made the list of favorites. Honestly, I am not a fan of reptiles, but this Kate Spade ring was just too cute to leave behind at the store. It's such a quirky, but a subtle accessory that I know I'll be wearing throughout spring/summer and for years to come!
Well, that's all the favorites for February! I will be rolling out my March favorites post in a few weeks, but until then, I hope you check out my upcoming outfit posts. As always, fashionistas, I am sending you lots of love from my heart to yours!
