Hey, fashionistas! I hope your February was filled with lots of happiness and wonderful Kodak moments that you'll be talking about for years on end. Today I am sharing with you my favorites from last month. Spoiler alert: there's a little bit of beauty, a little bit of bling, and a whole lot of chic.
This Make Up For Ever lipstick in the shade N10, "Iridescent Copper Pink" has been my go-to lipstick color of the month. It's from the Rouge Artist Natural collection and I believe, is being discontinued. I purchased three lipsticks in the shade, N9 "Copper Pink," because it is my favorite lipstick of all time, and I decided to try out N10 because it's basically the same shade, but with a bit of sparkle. The second beauty favorite that I've been loving since February is this Anti-Pollution Finishing Essence from Chantecaille. I've been using this product religiously ever since I purchased it and I really like it! It moisturizes, soothes, protects, and rebalances against urban pollution, smog, and heavy metals while reducing the appearance of fine lines and dullness. I apply it twice a day to my face, once in the morning after I cleanse my face and finish my skin-care routine (but before I apply my makeup), and once after I shower and apply my nighttime skin-care products. Personally, I've noticed that my skin doesn't feel as dehydrated and tired as it used to when I sit in front of my computer for hours on end. This product is free of animal components, phthalates, sulphate detergents, mineral oil, petrolatum, palm oil, synthetic color, synthetic fragrance, and GMOs. And what's even more amazing? It contains 99% natural ingredients and it's not tested on animals.
This next favorite was an incredible find from Ross. Yes, you heard me, Ross. I found these gorgeous Balmain sunglasses on clearance for $69.99. Let me tell you, it was a glorious moment. I snatched them up faster than my mind could compute how lucky of a style steal that was. Iris Apfel is one of my favorite style icons, so when I wear these round frames, I feel as if I'm one step closer to emulating her sophistication, charm, and unique style.
