Mickey Mouse was born on October 1, 1928, from Walt Disney's vivid imagination during a train ride from Manhatten to Hollywood.  Who knew that this one character would be the start of what would evolve into a successful billion dollar company that would bring joy and happiness to so many people.  Before watching the movie, Walt Before Mickey on Netflix, I saw photos of Walt Disney in his later years as a successful filmmaker and businessman, smiling for the camera.  I knew little to nothing about his life before becoming a famous film icon, so it was eye-opening to learn about his struggles and obstacles that he encountered in bringing his vision to life.  His perseverance, incredible work ethic, and his ability to dream beyond what other's thought was possible was nothing short of inspirational.
Since I wanted to share my thoughts on this movie with you, I thought it would be the perfect time to wear my Mickey Mouse sweater.  I tucked it into a pair of high-waisted denim shorts and cinched everything together with a vintage black belt.  For a bit of color, I slipped into a pair of striking red boots, and because I couldn't decide on wearing either red or yellow earrings, I wore one of each.  Finally, I painted on a classic red lip and popped on a pair of black cat-eye sunglasses for just a hint of glamour.
Hope you enjoyed reading this post!  Whether you're a Disney fan or not, I think you'll be inspired by the movie, Walt Before Mickey, so be sure to check it out on Netflix.  And remember, never stop dreaming and do whatever sets your soul on fire.  Until my next post, I am sending you all lots of love from my heart to yours!
