Hey, fashionistas! Today I'm gonna let you in on a little secret. Sundays are normally my photo shoot days. I try to do about three photo shoots because I am usually very busy during the week, and honestly, I usually don't have time. With that said, I like to keep the photos from the photo shoots on hold on my computer until I want to post them. Most times I try to write my blog posts and upload them to Elizabeth, Marie, and Me as soon as possible, but sometimes the photos get lost in my iPhoto gallery and I forget all about the photo shoot. This is one of those photo shoots. I shot this look back in 2017, October to be exact. I had just purchased this Rodarte x Vogue 125 tee from the little pop-up shop at the Vogue Forces of Fashion Conference in New York. The conference was incredible and when I returned to Hawai'i, I was so excited to style this t-shirt and share this outfit with you, but as the story goes, the photos got lost in the plethora of photos on my laptop. However, this is one of my favorite outfits to date, so I just had to post it even if it's five months late. Now that you know the backstory of this outfit post, let's dive into the details of what I'm wearing.
If you scrolled through my recent outfit posts, you may have noticed that my favorite style combo of the moment is wearing fancy statement earrings, embellished sunglasses and heels with a simple white tee and straight jeans. The juxtaposition between the casual staples and the elegant accessories is fantastic. Somehow heels are just so chic with straight jeans. And let me tell you, I've worn these Topshop straight jeans so many times that I invested in a backup pair. To match the sparkles on ears and on my sandals, I chose my favorite rhinestone-encrusted cat-eye sunglasses and I carried a petite red purse with stud details.
