April 2015 Favorites @ Elizabeth, Marie, and Me

I can't believe it's already May!  Time flew by so fast!  My April Favorites for 2015 is short and sweet.  Last month I tried to focus more on my health and wellbeing, so my favorites are a bit different than usual.  Since half of my favorites are food items, let's start there!

April 2015 Favorites @ Elizabeth, Marie, and Me

My first April favorite is this package of freeze dried strawberries from Trader Joe's.  I love snacking on them during the day and I love putting them in smoothies.  Last month I really got into making myself smoothies in the morning with breakfast.  They are healthy and a great way to start off the day.  I loved blending up frozen bananas with spinach, and other fruits.  On days when I didn't have fresh or frozen strawberries, I would rehydrate these freeze dried strawberries and add them to the mix!
Also, I have been loving this coconut water from Harmless Harvest.  I am not kidding you, this is hands down the best coconut water I have ever drank.  It's sweet, crisp, and it tastes so clean.  I have tried a lot of different brands of coconut water over the years and to me, most of them have a weird aftertaste.  However, this coconut water doesn't have a weird aftertaste at all and it makes my body feel healthy and energized.  Maybe because it is raw, organic, and full of antioxidants.  I love to drink it by itself, but I have found that it also tastes delicious in smoothies.  If you want to read more about Harmless Harvest, click here! *(DISCLAIMER: I am not being sponsored by Harmless Harvest, I just simply LOVE their coconut water.)

My next favorite is this book by Gabrielle Bernstein.  Although I had seen her speak at a workshop in 2013, I had never read any of her books.  I am not finished with it, but I am loving the journey so far!  This book is outlined as a 6 week course and each week has a theme.  For example, one week is dedicated to body image and another is all about relationships.  I know this type of book is not everyone's cup of tea, but I love the way the book is structured, the daily affirmations and exercises, and how she really allows her voice to shine through.  I am incredibly happy that I picked up this book!  If you would like to purchase this book, click the link above.

Lastly, I have been loving this texturizing spray by Garnier Fructise.  In all honesty, I don't do much to my hair; I don't curl or straighten it, and most days I don't even brush it because I find that my hair ends up looking like a frizzy mess.  Since my hair is naturally wavy, I like this spray because it gives my hair a bit more volume and texture without making it messy.  I spray a bit of it on my hair when it's still damp after a shower and scrunch my hair up with my hands before leaving it to air-dry overnight.  When I wake up in the morning I find that my waves are more defined and my hair is just a bit shinier.
I hope you enjoyed my April favorites.  Stay tuned to my Fabulous Fashion Finds post this Friday!  Sending you lots of love from my hear to yours!
