Although the Royal Poinciana trees are native to south Florida, they can be found all over the island of O'ahu. I have always loved the Royal Poinciana flowers ever since I was a child, so I thought it would be wonderful to capture them in a photo shoot. When the unique vermillion flowers would twirl off the trees on a windy day, I loved to pick them up and place them in my hair- I guess some things never change. To compliment the gorgeous flowers, I wore a bright orange Misguided jumpsuit I purchased from Nordstrom and gold platform heels to finish off the look. For jewelry, I settled for drop hoop earrings and a thick gold bangle. Hope this outfit post brightens your day! Sending you lots of love from my heart to yours!
