April 2017 Favorites

Thursday, May 04, 2017

There's something sweet, something sparkly, and a whole lot of colorful inspiration in my April favorites.  Last month, I took a bit of time away from social media to just live life.  During those weeks, I cultivated a few favorite items and I wanted to share them with you all today.  I know they say to end with desserts, but let's start this blog post off on a sweet note!

Chic doesn't even begin to describe these treats.  The packaging is beautiful and these Maggie Louise confections are fabulous.  The little kid inside of me totally geeked out when I saw these!  I have to admit, it felt a bit odd when I took the first bite of the lipstick chocolate because it looked so real.  Not only are they the most fashionable sweets I have ever seen, they are absolutely delicious!

As a fashion blogger and an artist at heart, I am always looking for inspiration.  Music, movies, and books always get my creative brain juice flowing, so there's nothing I love more than flipping through fashion books in my down time.  These two lovely books are my latest editions in my collection.  Every page is filled with amazing fashions through the decades and I am completely in awe of all of the styles, prints, and silhouettes.

Last, but certainly not least, I had to include at least one jewelry item.  On a day to day basis, I usually wear the same black stone necklace, but I have been wearing this Scorpio pendant almost every day because it's simple and it seems to go with everything I wear.  Who knows?  Maybe it will become my good luck charm!  Let me know in the comments below if you have a jewelry piece that you wear religiously every day.
I am wishing you all lots of light and happiness in the month of May!  And as always, I am sending you lots of love from my heart to yours!  Also, stay tuned for a new outfit post this week!
