Something about summer has got me feeling very relaxed when it comes to my style. Lately I have been reaching for tank tops and graphic tees, so it felt very refreshing to wear this asymmetrical blouse by Jacquemus. On hot days I just want to throw on an effortless ensemble that won't make me overheat, and still look chic. This is what I pulled together in a few minutes, so I wanted to share it with you.
I don't know about you, but I really appreciate designers who push the envelope and create unique pieces that are not only beautiful but also wearable. Jacquemus is one of those special ones. I purchased this 'Le Top Abstrait' top a while back from his "Le Nez Rouge" collection, but Simon Porte Jacquemus's pieces are now sold at Nordstrom so you can check out his more recent designs there. As a blogger, I love to find pieces that make a statement or start a conversation, and this one does just that in such an elegant way. He finds a way to put a fresh take on classic silhouettes, and everything he creates is fabulous! With that said, I usually link items that are similar to the ones I wear in the outfit post, but I decided to link Jacquemus items that I love in the widget above. If I could, I would purchase ALL of them!
Now, back to talking about this summer outfit! Although this top could be dressed up with tailored white or black pants, I still kept this look casual by pairing the top with a pair of jeans, but I glammed it up just a tad with a pair of white mules and accessories.
