The 90s brought us countless fashion trends that are now being revived and refreshed. If I were only born ten years earlier, I would have whole-heartedly embraced all the funky and fun fashion trends that decade had to offer. Being a 90s baby, I feel as if I missed out on so many awesome trends because I was simply too young. Although I tried so hard to convince my mom to let me walk out of the house with my shirt tied in the front, just like Britney Spears, I always received the "hell no" response. Can you imagine a second grader wearing a crop top to school? On the bright side, I got to rock overalls, denim jackets, chokers, and of course, the fluffy trend. For those of you old enough to remember, how cool were those cardigans with fluffy trim? Or what about those fluffy crop tops? As for those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, the movie, Clueless, will be your fashion guide into the 90s.
Although this trend is not back in full force, I am loving these fluffy pom pom earrings. They are, for sure, a conversation starter! I paired them with this cute baby pink top and cropped white jeans because I thought the unique neckline and hem played nicely with the cutesiness of the earrings. To finish off this outfit, I zipped on my white sandals and slipped on a gold spiral bracelet. You can never go wrong with adding a bit of sparkle.
