August 2016 Favorites

         September is finally here and fall is slowly approaching. For my August Favorites, I wanted to share with you the three pairs of heels I picked up during my trip to Las Vegas.  Since I live in Hawai'i, I am able to wear them all year round, but I am definitely looking forward to wearing boots again.  Let's dive right into what I've been loving!




          First off, I have to share with you my favorite purchase from Vegas- these Topshop platform heels.  They reminded me of the Miu Miu jeweled heel platforms, but these were a lot friendlier on my wallet.  The faux pearls and rhinestones are what elevates the platforms from chic to show-stopper status.  I imagine wearing these with a cute tulle dress, but they would look equally amazing with a plain white tee and jeans.   


          I have been thinking about purchasing these black Steve Madden heels for a while since I have these exact ones in nude, but I never bought them.  I find it funny how I purchased a pair of Marc Jacobs denim platform heels with sequin patches and faux pearl embellishments, but I could not get myself to purchase these versatile black strappy heels.  I finally decided to take the plunge- I purchased them in Vegas and I couldn't be happier because they match almost everything in my closet.  




          Going along with the versatile shoe trend, I also purchased these Steve Madden "Kaiden" nude platform heels.  Like the Topshop heels I featured above, these look similar to the high-end designer pair-the Saint Laurent Tribute Platforms.  I've linked both above and I think they look pretty close in style.  Besides the shade of nude, the only major difference between the Kaiden and the Tribute is that the Kaiden is missing the t-bars strap.  If you are looking for the Saint Laurent style but don't want to spend $900, the Steve Madden "Kaiden" heels are perfect.  (I also found another similar heel and linked it above!)
