Purple and yellow have always been my favorite pair of contrasting colors, so for today's outfit I paired a plum skirt with a simple v-neck mustard camisole from Forever 21. This knotted maxi skirt is such a rich color of purple, that it would only be fair to wear it with a color that is equally bright and bold. Although they are contrasting colors, the gold and silver toned accessories help pull the outfit together. I wore my favorite set of Lucky Brand jewelry and my go-to gold heels.
I must say, I really do love Forever 21's camisoles. They have two different styles: scoop neck and v-neck, they come in every color you can imagine and they are really inexpensive. To me, they are a closet must-have because they are incredibly versatile; you can wear them with anything! I knew I wanted to showcase the beautiful details of the skirt, so I needed a simple top that would accentuate it, not take away from it. I tried on different shirts, but the camisole stole the show! As soon as I put it on I said, "Voilà! Outfit complete!" Hope you have a bright and beautiful day! As always, sending you lots of love from my heart to yours!
