Artsy Colorful Vibes

          Rise and shine, fashionistas!  Happy Saturday!  What makes you excited about starting your day?  When you wake up in the morning, what is the first thought that pops into your head . . . besides coffee?  For me, it's deciding on what I'm going to wear that day and everything and anything fashion related.  Let me tell you, I even have dreams that I'm shopping and styling new pieces.  I guess there's no denying my passion for fashion!  Yes, I know, I just said that.  Cheesy, but it's true.  I love mixing prints and different textured fabrics together, but there's nothing I love more than styling a new accessory for the first time.  




        To me, styling is an art form, and that includes finding the right accessories to enhance the look.  It's a balancing act between knowing when to add more and knowing when to let the clothes speak for themselves.  Metaphorically speaking, I see shoes, purses, belts, scarves, and jewelry as the frosting to an outfit.  Like decorating a cake, the frosting needs to be evenly spread and in the right proportions. An overload of frosting can make the cake taste too sweet, while too little can make the cake taste bland. 



          This canary knit dress from Zara is striking on its own, but I decided to take it the extra mile and adorn it with a bit of gold and a splash of color.  As soon as I laid eyes on these statment resin earrings, I knew they had to be the second star of the show because I'm living for the artsy colorful vibes.  A turquoise cuff, a gold chain belt, and a white purse with metal handle is what I chose to sum up this look.  And voila!  What do you think?  Too many accessories or did I get it just right?  I would love to know in the comments below!  Also, how would you style this dress?  Well, until my next post, I am sending you lots of love from my heart to yours!  Hope you all have a relaxing weekend!
