Always a Safe Bet
Tuesday, October 30, 2018
Everyone has a "safe outfit," one that you can count on to make you feel comfortable in your skin. For me, it's an outfit that consists of a faux leather jacket, a pair of jeans, and black heels. I don't know why, but this has been my go-to combination since high school. I've been gravitating toward brighter colors lately, but whenever I'm in a rush to get out the door, I wear this exact combo but usually with a white tee. It's chic and it can be transitioned from a day outfit to a night-out look with a few key accessories.
For this outfit post, I chose to style a studded faux leather jacket and a distressed pair of jeans with a black strapless bodysuit for a dressier ensemble. Jeans are a classic piece that almost everyone has in their closet because they look amazing with a simple tee or a fancier blouse. Now, add on a faux leather jacket, another versatile piece and you've got an almost fool-proof combination. You can look chic in an instant!
Since I decided to take a glitzier and a little more ostentatious approach, I chose to accessorize with silver rhinestone jewelry pieces, blinged-out sunglasses, and a petite rivet-embellished petite purse.
And you know that I had to wear my rhinestone-encrusted heels to tie in with the sparkly theme! See, wearing black doesn't have to be boring. It's really all about the accessories you choose. If rhinestones aren't your style, you could even add a pop of color to the look, like a red purse or bright pink heels. The possibilities are endless!
So, now that I shared my "safe outfit" with you, I'm curious, what's yours? The classic combo of a white tee and jeans is a popular choice, but I'd love to know what your go-to look is in the comments below! Well, that's all for this short and sweet outfit post. As always, fashionistas, I am sending you lots of love from my heart to yours!

Only you could make "bad girl" or "biker chick" look chic. Surely the earrings and the sandals offer a girly touch to this otherwise "bad girl" look. So are stylishly good with this "bad girl" outfit!
