Dalmatians on Display

If I had to select just one quintessential fall piece, it would be a faux leather skirt.  For this outfit post, I chose to embrace animal print, one of the trends for autumn 2018.  Instead of the cheetah, leopard, or snake print, my button down blouse has Dalmatian dogs on display.

How fun is it to have the actual animal stamped throughout the shirt as the print instead of its spots?  I dolled up the blouse and skirt duo with a handful of accessories that amped up the glam.

This faux leather mini skirt came paired with a metal ring belt, so I decided to play up the silver with an array of sterling silver rings and rhinestone oval hoop earrings.  I then accessorized with a sleek jet black beaded purse and matching bracelets.

For the cherry on top, I chose a pair of ebony sunnies and a burgundy lip.  Sometimes a bold lip can be the best accessory of all!

This is a look I can see myself wearing all throughout the fall season because it's got a bit of fun and quirkiness, a bit of rock and roll, and a touch of glam.  Let me know in the comments below which animal print you're excited about sporting this fall season.  I'd love to know!  I truly hope you enjoyed reading this blog post and thank you so much for stopping by Elizabeth, Marie, and Me.  As always, I am sending you lots of love from my heart to yours!

"Animals come from nature. They were not designed. All my inspiration comes from nature, whether it's an animal or the layout of bark or of a leaf. Sometimes my patterns are very bold, and you can barely see where they come from, but all the textures and all the prints come out of nature." -Diane von Furstenberg

  1. This outfit is a fun take on the hard-trending animal print style. While not entirely in love with the outfit, I strongly like the top, skirt, handbag, and sandals. Adorable smile and hairstyle as always. Fine style job!
