Bonjour to the New

Hey, fashionistas! Today I'm switching up my usual feminine style for a bit of sporty street chic style on Elizabeth, Marie, and Me. If you told me four years ago when I started this blog that I would one day feature a look like this, I would have thought you were crazy. First off, this is my first pair of yellow pants ever. Maybe that's an exaggeration, but I honestly can't remember the last time I owned one.
Second, I never thought that I could pull off this style of cargo pants. Like I said in my previous post, Sporty Meets Street Chic, this sort of outfit puts me out of my comfort zone since I wasn't born with that "cool factor." Lol. All in all, I love trying new looks, and this is one of them!
Let's talk about these yellow pants, shall we? It's the color of sunshine so that in itself makes me happy. Well, that and the fact that it came with the black belt. Bonus! As a 4' 10" fashionista, I love the fact that these pants are scrunched at the ankles. It's a heaven-sent detail that I'm sure all my petite gals out there can also appreciate. And the amount of pockets on this piece is divine! It's got at least four pockets, so whenever I wear them, I have more than enough room to store my holiday candy and snacks. Shhh!!!
To match the bold bottom, I wore my "Bonjour" long sleeve graphic tee from Forever 21. This ensemble definitely makes a statement, wouldn't you agree?
Now, onto my favorite part, accessories. I completed the look with a pair of platform boots, a black structured purse, a pair of cat-eye sunnies, and silver jewelry.
I know these boots were featured in the photos above, but I felt as if they deserved a closer look. If memory serves me right, I believe these Fenty x Puma boots are from the fall 2016 ready-to-wear collection. They are insanely comfortable and they make me feel way cooler than I really am.
So, that's all for this look. Let me know in the comments below what you think about this new style on me. Yay or nay? I'd love to know. Well, until my next post, I bid you all adieu and I am sending you lots of love from my heart to yours!

I am not really feeling the outfit, but I do think those lace-up wedge booties look pretty awesome. This is a boyish outfit with a feminine kick- surely provided by the cropped top and (especially) the wedge booties. I credit your unique style here. Oh, and one last thing... you are VERY cool. Screw the haters! :)
