Sunday Funday

Happy Sunday Funday!!! Hope all of you are celebrating this glorious day by doing at least one amusing activity that brings a smile to your face. Maybe it's going to the movies, shopping at your favorite department store, tanning on the beach, swimming with friends, brunching, or just laying in bed all day watching movies on Nexflix. Doesn't that sound amazing? No matter what you're doing or not doing, Sundays are one of the best days of the week, right? To be fair, Saturdays are pretty awesome, but Sundays are my fun days. Before I go on about what I plan on doing today, let's run through all the pieces I'm wearing in this outfit post. Shall we?
When I saw this cute "Sunday Funday" tee by Bow and Drape, I knew I wanted to feature it here on my blog. You know I couldn't pass up a t-shirt that has sequins and a saying on it! And what better way to wear it than with sparkly smiley face earrings and a pair of glitter cat-eye sunglasses? Sparkles always match sparkles. Always.
Also, can we take a moment to discuss how cozy this bright magenta Betsey Johnson coat is? I probably know what you're thinking. Why in the world is this nut head wearing a wool coat in Hawai'i? Yes, it's spring and 70 degrees outside, so I'll be tucking it back in my closet until this winter, but I wanted to throw it over my shoulders one last time for this outfit post. And yes, I rock wool coats in Hawai'i winters. What can I say? I'm always cold! Even if I was burning up during this one-hour shoot, I knew there was no other jacket or lightweight coat that could pull this look together like this one. Boy, the things I do for fashion . . .
Speaking of weather, it's supposed to rain today and I planned on doing a photo shoot with my team (a.k.a my mother, my photographer, and my aunt, her assistant). Yikes! As you may know, I designate most Sundays photo shoot days. On these days the three of us try to shoot as many outfit posts as we can before celebrating with a post photo shoot ladies lunch. Not only do we work up a sweat from baking in the sun while standing and squatting in different positions to capture the right photos, we definitely work up an appetite. To end a fun day with delicious food and an hour or two of chit chatting is the best!
No matter what you're planning on doing today, I hope you have loads of fun! Take this day off from work to relax, recoup, and rejuvenate your body, mind, and soul. Until next week, I am sending you lots of love from my heart to yours!
